About

We make visa applications less intimidating.

Ghana Visa Guide is an independent publication based in Accra. We don't process applications and we're not affiliated with any embassy or government. Our only job is to give Ghanaian travellers honest, current, easy-to-follow information — so you walk into your appointment prepared.

Why we exist

For too many Ghanaian travellers, the hardest part of going abroad is the paperwork — not the journey itself. We started Ghana Visa Guide because the official information is scattered, the unofficial information is often wrong, and the cost of a refusal is too high to learn the hard way.

Our editorial standards

  • Quarterly reviews: every fee, processing time, and embassy address is checked at least once every three months.
  • Primary sources only: we link to the official embassy, VFS, and government websites so you can verify before you apply.
  • Real applicants: our guides incorporate feedback from readers who recently completed the process.
  • Corrections published openly: if we get something wrong, we update the article with a dated note and email any affected readers who contacted us.
  • No pay-to-publish: sponsors and advertisers cannot influence editorial content. Sponsored content, where it exists, is clearly labelled.

What we don't do

We do not file applications on your behalf, hold passports, or charge for "guaranteed approvals". Anyone offering you that service should be treated with extreme caution — no legitimate consultant can guarantee an outcome.
